125x135cm Satellite dish Installations for UK TV

Since February 2014, and the change over to the new UK TV Astra Satellites, a 1.2m satellite dish (actual measurements of the satellite dish are 110cm x 120cm) is the minimum satellite dish for decent stable reception of the main UK TV channels like BBC and ITV in our service area of Valencia, Alicante and Costa Blanca North.

We do, however,  recommend that you have the 125x135cm satellite dish installed, as this dish is more robust, stringer, stable (and heavier!) and provides a stronger and more stable signal than the 110x120cm satellite dish.

A satellite dish smaller than 110cm x 120cm such as a 1m satellite dish (actual measurements of the satellite dish are 90cm x 100cm) is no longer the minimum required satellite dish for decent stable reception of the main UK TV channels like BBC and ITV. Although these satellite dishes can be installed for UK TV (BBC and ITV), they operate one the very limit, and so stable reception cannot be guaranteed.

We use a strong wall bracket or floor stand, which ensures stability and a more securely installed satellite dish. Some satellite installers in our service areas use a type of aluminium wall bracket which is very weak and very flexible, not ideal of a precision satellite installation!

We use a high performance, high gain, low noise LNB to get the maximum signal from the satellite dish to your satellite receiver.

This 125x135cm offset satellite dish is one of the most popular satellite dishes on the Costa Blanca and Spain, having been available and used for many years. This 125x135cm offset satellite dish receives the satellite signals from the new UK TV satellites with exceptional results. We find this 125x135cm satellite dish performs better than other satellite dishes of similar size on the Costa Blanca.

Standard installation of satellite dish, support (wall or floor), LNB, and a “reasonable length” cable run. Additional charges will be made for additional cable runs, non standard wall or floor mountings.

When we install a Freesat system, we use official Freesat receivers. Some satellite installation companies along the Costa Blanca and Valencia area may offer you an Iberosat, Ferguson Ariva or GI Galaxy Innovations satellite receiver, claiming it is a Freesat receiver. These satellite receivers are NOT Freesat receivers. Official Freesat receivers have the Freesat logo on the receiver, remote control and the packaging.
